Barbara is as sweet as she is pretty. She loves people of all ages and sizes. Barbara seems to prefer her dog friends be about her same size or larger. She’s a 10 year old gal with a difficult past, but she doesn’t let any of that hinder her in any way. 

Daisy is a sweet 8 year old Shar Pei. She does well with other dogs and becomes a shadow to her person. Daisy does well children who understand boundaries and she will make an excellent companion to a lucky family.

If you’re looking for a happy, affectionate, playful girl who will shower you with kisses and happily accept belly rubs all day long, Sadie may be your girl! 🥰

Sadie is a 7-year-old sweetheart who is equal parts snuggly and playful. She LOVES meeting new people and gets so excited to make new friends! She’s smart, expressive, adaptable, and just an all-around happy-go-lucky girl. 💗

🐾 A few of Sadie’s favorite things:

• Belly rubs (her absolute favorite!)

• Chew toys — she’s a stuffie destruction expert! 

• Walks and playing fetch

• Lounging in the sunshine

• Following her people around while they garden

• Meeting friendly dogs

• Car rides and sticking her head out the window 

Sadie is completely housebroken, sleeps through the night, and does wonderfully when left home alone. She isn’t crate trained and doesn’t do well being confined to small spaces, but she is perfectly happy roaming the house and mostly sleeps while her humans are away.

🐶 A few things to know about Sadie:

Sadie gets VERY excited for walks and pulls during the first 15 minutes or so. She’s a petite girl but very strong, so she’ll need someone who can handle her strength. Once she gets that initial excitement out, she settles into a nice pace.

She LOVES people and can jump when excited, so a home with very young children may not be the best fit because she could accidentally knock over a little one.

Sadie has done well meeting other dogs, especially males. She would likely do best with a dog her size or larger, as tiny dogs may be overwhelmed by her enthusiasm and strength. She is also not recommended for a home with cats because she loves to chase them.

Sadie has a little white heart-shaped spot on the back of her neck AND the cutest crooked tail that gives her the most adorable little tail wags! ❤️

🐾❤️ MEET MARVIN! ❤️🐾

This handsome boy is Marvin, an 11-year-old Beagle looking for his forever home! He is located in Danville, IN.

Marvin is your typical lovable Beagle — friendly with everyone, great with kids and other dogs, and always wanting to be close to his person.

Marvin LOVES walks and following his nose, so a home with a secure fenced yard and someone who enjoys taking several walks a day would be ideal. An easy-walk harness is recommended because that Beagle nose can lead to some pulling! 

He is also a professional cuddler who loves sleeping on the bed and being face-to-face with his person. ❤️ He does well with cats and has no problem meeting new people.

More than anything, Marvin is a sensitive, loving boy who just wants to be loved and included. He would absolutely love a family with kids, but most importantly, he needs someone who has time to give him attention, companionship, walks, and plenty of cuddles. 🥰

Marvin is ready to find the family who will love him for all that he is!

Gunner is a 9 year old Pekingese with a heart of gold. He enjoys a comfy couch, leisurely walks, and spending time with his people. Gunner is dog friendly and would do well with canine friends or as an only dog.  

Chloe is an absolute doll at age 9. She can sit and shake on command and is housebroken. Chloe does well with dogs of all sizes and people of all ages. She enjoys walks and rides well in a car. Chloe is the whole package searching for her perfect home!

Karlee has healed up beautifully from her surgery and is officially ready to find her forever home! 🥰

This sweet girl is an absolute gem. She is calm, quiet, incredibly sweet, and so easygoing. Her foster mom says she has had no complaints about Karlee at all! ❤️

Karlee is:
🐾 Housebroken
🐾 Very quiet — her foster has only heard her bark a couple of times!
🐾 Good on a leash
🐾 Enjoys car rides
🐾 Dog friendly and can live with another dog or be your one and only
🐾 Fine with cats (although she WILL help herself to the litter box 🤦‍♀️😂)
🐾 Very low energy — exploring the yard, eating, and sleeping are pretty much her favorite activities!

Karlee is deaf and has some vision loss, so she can startle easily, especially when approached unexpectedly. Because of this, an adult home or one with older, respectful children would likely be best. She would also do best with a family who understands that she needs a little extra patience and awareness because of her limited senses.

And while Karlee isn’t a huge couch-cuddler, she absolutely loves being held, petted, and having her chin rubbed. She may not hand out tons of kisses, but she is a happy little girl who wags her tail A LOT! 🥹💕

Her foster mom says Karlee is incredibly smart and adjusted quickly to her new surroundings. She even learned where the outside doors were and picked up on the household routine in no time!

Karlee would be a wonderful companion for a single person, retired couple, or anyone looking for a quiet, gentle senior girl who just wants to enjoy the simple things in life. 🐶
