Why we need YOU
Taffy’s Touch is a foster based rescue. Our success is contingent on the number of foster homes we have available. It’s simple....the more foster homes we have, the more lives we can save! We are always looking for foster homes in Indianapolis, Greenwood and surrounding areas.
What expenses are involved?
Taffy’s Touch provides bedding, crates, toys, food (if requested), and any medical needs necessary for the pet. The foster family provides the love and companionship!
Forever Foster/ Hospice
Some older dogs in shelters actually just need a peaceful home for their final days. They often have chronic medical conditions or more urgent, acute issues that are not ‘fixable’. Our goal then becomes to provide that dog with a chance to know love and comfort with hospice care rather than for them to pass away in the shelter. Our forever foster or hospice dogs are not adoptable and we cover medical needs until they do pass.
